This proposed bill is actually about lowering property taxes for corporations. The only tax they can not negotiate. It is not about improving education or giving tax payers a break. We the tax payers will have to compensate for the loss of property taxes from corporations by paying higher income tax.
Note that forthcoming we will be posting the complete breakdown of
Senate Bill (SB2288) which we hope will help voters understand all the
complex components woven into the legislation. I hope this will open
up the dialog and allow everyone to get a handle on the taxes and tax
credits involved with this bill. Thanks for your comment and stay

Now I understand your reservations, Susan on the current tax bills. Do you have any suggestions for how revenue enhancement should look in Illinois?
